Name that motorcycle game

Here's how it is played. Guess the name/make of the motorcycle correctly and you get to post a bike of your own. You can give hints if you want

I will start.

Hint: It is not a German bike.

It's a Harley Davidson made for using in the Sahara Desert during WW2.

BMW Roundel

The engine looks like a 1935 R12. I can not tell the beefy frame. May be it's made specifically for military use.

BMW Roundel

Or, Is it possible that it's a super rare Zundapp?

It is none of the above.

Hint #2: I've posted it on this forum before.

Obviously it is a Swiss Condor. My guess is around a 1947 model.

Varmint: No. You are incorrect. If you are correct you get to post your own mystery bike.

Branners: No. But funny.

Foo: No.

Wildduc: No

Hint #3: It is French.

Est-ce qu'il s'agit d'une Cemec, peut etre?

Au revoir!

Luca: NON!

It is not a CEMEC...but that was a very good guess. Think older.

Here we are: it's a "Gnome et Rhone" model AX2A...

Very hard, I did not even know the existence of this manufacturer!

Ok...
I think I don't have even half of the motorcycle-culture of 1967 R50/2, so I post a pic of a bike that have a sentimental value for me, because it has been my father's first bike:

Hint: it's italian...

Whoa! The engine is interesting...it could be a Puch or a DKW...although the DKW engine was copied alot. So I am guessing it is not an Aermacchi.

The small diameter scooter tires kinda throw things off, as does the wierd rear suspension. Where are the rear shocks?

Is it a Benelli?

Uhm...rear shock? I think it's the spring under the seat!

No, it isn't an Aermacchi nor a Benelli. It's a manufacturer which doesn't exist anymore, but many years ago it has had some kind of relation with BMW...
