Any solutions? I hate pulling over to get me some.

Sorry,
I finally got the bike that does it all and the woman to go along with it. Unless you have someone to share? |

LOL! A girl friend of mine always tells me the S is sex on wheels.
Seems you've discovered this also. Unfortunately until they come with autopilot I'd stick with pulling over before getting some. There are places I'd rather NOT have road rash ... or any other sort of rash. ![]() |

Yes, its true that the S vibrates at just the correct frequency to provide ample shock value to the passenger.
Any Bueller care to comment on rear riding pleasure comparison? Totally different frequency, in fact more like a grab em by the tail and start slappin feeling (or so I'm told). |

Have had the same girlfriend on three motorcycles, she vastly prefers the S to either of the Buells although the 95 S2 Buell was fun in a different way, thrumm instead of hmmm. I would never never question her judgement. She would rather ride the LT with heat and tunes tho any day.

Oh let me qualify. She likes the Buell at idle but prefers the S at hywy speeds. I think that sums it up very well.

I can't believe this is actually a complaint!
Would you rather have "bubba" riding as your passenger that way you can politely tell him that you don't need the "courtesy reach-around" to finish you off? |

Seeing that we are discussing women & bikes.....
Advantages of bikes over women: You don’t have to buy your bike a set of rings when you decide to keep her. You don’t have to buy your bike flowers or remember the date that you bought her. When your bike gets old you can trade in for a younger model. You don’t have to send money to the old models once you’ve traded them in. You can ride your bike any time you feel like it You can ride your bike any style you fancy. Your bike doesn’t mind if you look at, or even ride other bikes. You can own more than one bike at a time without them getting into fights. Your bike doesn’t mind waiting in the parking lot while you have a drink with the boys. Paul |

kgibbs, that is funny, because I have the same exact problem. Your girlfriend grabs my crotch whenever we go riding too.

Advatages of Bikes over Women:
You do have to buy rings if you keep it, if its a Harley. |

Motorcycles and women don't mix. I should know. Being a bachelor I have all sorts of time to ride my BMW R1100S while not being distracted by the likes of the female form or companionship.
Instead I have the sublime comfort of my boxer motor and hundreds of thousands of miles of countryside covered. I'd bet my grey beard that you are not serious rider. |

Are you saying that you get SEXUAL satisfaction out of your BEEMER?
Everyone knows a Buell is much more sexually satisfying! big j |

Some like the 'cave man' approach, others enjoy a more refined style. To each his own.

I don't have any Buellin friends that would complain about this "problem". Heck, some of the better ones would post her picture!

SuedePatches,
Geek. Didn't you read that I find it difficult to make the choice, girl or ride? Geez, I put 4000 miles on my S since mid May and I plan to take the s from Chicago to Denver over the 4th of July. All told I expect to ride over close to 8000 miles in 2 months. If that makes me a poser then... Also, I managed to put 5000 miles on my Buell last year and that's pretty respectable considering all the recall, shop time, and Warranty Services she needed. BTW, shot Deals Gap without girl and will do Denver without girl. Girl available in city 24/7 and I do brake for quickies! Ha, Ha! |

Hey kgibb, where are you from and where'd you get yours? I got mine on May 4th/5th and just clicked over 4k on the way to work this morning...I guess I need to speed up the riding to keep up with everyone.
Damn, I *knew* I shouldn't have driven the car down to that gig the other night -- but I guess I couldn't really fit a drum set on the S! *grin* |

ErricZ,
I live in Chicago proper (not suburbia). Bought my S at Chicago Harley/BMW. |
