Test ride with high mount, WOW
Took a 1 hr test ride this afternoon after raising my low mounts above the fork clamp.
Totally changes the bike, for the better. I am 6'2", about 235lbs and must say I was completely shocked by the improvement of being able to sit up just a tad more AND having my head fully in the wind fixed the buffetting I was getting before. I didnt notice any more pressure on my butt etc from the up right position. Will Report back after a weekend ride to the N GA Mountains. Mike |

I'm 6 ft and prefer the low mount. Less wind buffetting, cut down shield also, hands are protected fromwind, therefore no heated grips. I'm more stretched out. Right now I have both low and high in the garage. Different for each of us. Now what's the R1200S going to be like. I don't ride often in town, that would make a big difference.
