Battery
I did a search and could find an answer. I just bought a 02 R1100S with a bad battery. I do not have an owners manual and can not figure out where the new battery goes. Any help is appreciated. I just returned from a 20 hour round trip to get this bike and am dying to ride it.

Found the answer to my own question by downloading an owners manual.

Strap it to the passanger cowl. Its a hassle to get to the battery. Not worth it.
![]() JK. I havent had to do it, so not sure whats required, I know alot of body work is involved... Is it dead or bad?

Welcome, Peter!
The search function seems to be messed up, but works properly from here. This should be a useful battery thread. When you're ready, post a pic or two of your bike in the "Show Your Scoot" thread.

Make your next battery an Odyssey PC 680.
I've seen them cheaper, but you can read about the battery here: http://www.odysseybatteries.com/battery/pc680.htm |
