Battery

I did a search and could find an answer. I just bought a 02 R1100S with a bad battery. I do not have an owners manual and can not figure out where the new battery goes. Any help is appreciated. I just returned from a 20 hour round trip to get this bike and am dying to ride it.

Found the answer to my own question by downloading an owners manual.

Strap it to the passanger cowl. Its a hassle to get to the battery. Not worth it.
JK. I havent had to do it, so not sure whats required, I know alot of body work is involved... Is it dead or bad?

get yourself a battery tender so you dont have to take this one out again.

Make your next battery an Odyssey PC 680.
I've seen them cheaper, but you can read about the battery here:
