definitely far from typical and there has to be something else causing all these issues from a misaligned frame to incorrectly cast motor or something of the like. We have yet to replace a tranny in the new R12's let alone 3 on the same bike. We have sold a few ST's and none are having any of these problems you mention.
Good luck and hope a good/fair resolution can be had.

As stated in the other thread, I figure I just ended up with the one lemon out of the bunch.
I know beemers are good bikes in general. Hell, just sold an R11S I bought new in 99 about two months ago, with 60k on the odo. Loved that bike! Put 76k on the LT I had. So, familiar with beemers and their durability. Just no clue what happened to this particular one... other than it was a demo; which can't mean much if the trans has been replaced.
