Shifting problem

Anybody have a problem not being able to downshift? On my ride home today, twice I tried shifting from fourth to third and the lever didn't want to move at first. Both times I had to push down on it two to three times to get it to shift. Not sure if it was just me not giving it the proper pressure or if there may be a problem. I happened close to home so I'm going to have to check it next time I ride. Anyone got any advice or have a similar problem or am I just worried about nothing?

How does the tranny oil look? Any metal? Level? How hot is it (ambient temperature)? In LA youse guyz is cooking right now, correct? Was it (the tranny) sitting in the direct sunlight?

You should trade parts with my brother-in-law, his downshifts in fifth and sixth if he gasses it hard. That is what he says anyway. I think his problem is clutch slip.

Have you tried to double clutch it before shifting. Could be air in the hydraulic system. Check clutch fluid level as well and consider bleeding the system. With such low miles there is no need to panic.
