Turn Signal Replacement

Has anybody done anyting to "sport" up the looks of the R1100S BCR by going with some smaller or more stealth rear turn signals? I found these on the Ridegear.com website. They have many other versions, these seemed pretty cool. Whats the verdict?

The LEDs will outlast the bike for sure. The CF look will match the front fender. You may or may not have to add a resistor to the signal circuit so that your blinker function works.

I added Red LED Running lights (1156) to the stock setup.

here is a link to a site where they use a "black box" from a trailer hitch, that turns the tail light into signals. This seems real cool!

Has anybody ever tried this?

Question

i put some LED low profile "marker" lights that were a perfect match for the shape of the existing turn signal mount, i will post some pics when I am done, the problem is that they dont do anything, no blink, no nothing. the front ones are still functioning. any thoughts?

LEDs are polarity sensitive...try swapping the wires.

I put these on my S, everyone loves the look. The fasteners are rusting after only one rain. For the price I might look elsewhere, but they due fit easy and look great (except for the rusting fasteners).

The other think I don't like is they cause the flashers to blink at a fasteer rate, they do howeve work with the auto off on the turn signalsm not that I usually wait that long before shutting them off myself.

The above is not my bike, I will add a picture or two before the weekend is out.

the polarity switch did the trick thanks! i'll post a pic, i think they look pretty hot, certainly not as noticeable as the stockers, but i don't rely on the blinkers before lane changing anyway, and i do have them set as running lights, so they are providing a bit more visability.
