This weekend, Sat Sept 30 and Sunday Oct. 1.
Sat will be a 4 hour and Sun will be normal sprint races. BMW will pay ypur admission, free lunch for anyone riding a BMW and BMW will have a full blown set up. San Jose BMW will be racing both their R1200S in the 4 hour and both their Power Cup bike (K1200S) now with well over 170 RWHP. Brian Pariott will be racing the SJBMW bikes There will be a shop ride leaving SJBMW Sunday at 8:30, a contential breakfast, and they do need a RSVP to ensure enough goodies will be served before the ride. San Jose's R1200S is currently the trickest R1200S in existance. I am going to be driving San Jose's rig to Daytona for the 8 hour on Sat Oct 21 and the sprint races Sunday Oct 29. Looking foward to meeting you east coasters. Looking foward to meeting you Doktor Curvemeister. Edited to reflect the ride Sunday.

Just talked to Chris again, to make clear.
the San Jose BMW shop ride to In fineon will be Sunday and the store would indeed like an RSVP to make sure that there will be enough goodies to eat before leaving. Again, the ride and contential breakfast will be Sunday, not Saturday

And you thought there was no free lunch with BMW. I'll be there on Sunday. If they let me on the track, I'll show Brian Parriott who's slow.

Hey Steve, put him in the system cases and he can hang with you while you're there and you can keep a real close eye on him.

His lower eyelid got swollen and I've had to put medicine in his eye twice a day, in addition to the e-collar and antibiotics. It's not clearing up rapidly, so I'm concerned.

Just recieved a phone call from Chris (SJBMW) for the 4 hour Brian started in 9th place, after 40 minutes he is in 1st place with a Yamaha R1 in 2nd. He is going to switch to another rider in 2 laps, wish it could of been N8. The field is GSXR1000's, Duc 999's R1's etc.

Recieved a message yesterday evening that they came in 2nd. Chris was happy with the 2nd place finish as this was San Jose's first endurance ever. The class had 999R Ducs GSXR 1000's, R1's and the like. Not bad for an Air Cooled Boxer Twin. Haven't talked to Chris since the finish. Today should see lots more racing.

Sorry about that. My bike was running really good, and I got this great second wind.

Talked to Chris several hours ago, Big turn out at Infineon, (Sears).
So far today, two races Brian won both, Open Twin and Open 750. more to go. Chris says that there is a lot of disbelife out there with an aircooled Boxer Twin, drive shaft just cleaning the clocks of some very hi dollar motorcycles, of course Brian is among the best. Come to Daytona for the 8 hour to see just how to ride a Beemer. By the way, N8 will be one of the San Jose BMW riders at Daytona, a long time dream of his. If I am not mistaken, Bobby will be part of the pit crew as well. Should be a hell of a time.
