dee, thanks for the shout out.
I'm having to redefine what it is to be 'me'.
I've been jonyrr for so long, now I have to cope without the 'rr' part. all part of the karma learning on this plane of existence...although it ain't easy or fun a lot of the time.
time to reinvent myself again..
Hello Dee. My name is Kevin and I live in Raleigh. I plan on heading out to the southern mountains once my wife and daughter leave for California. Since they are going for 5 weeks, and I'll only be there for one, I thought I'd use the time to ride the Old North State.
I will drop you a line once I get a firm date on when my wife's work commitments are done.
Good talkin' to you on the road yesterday, Dee. I rolled into the garage about 8:45PM. It had chilled down to 43 Degrees. I ordered another Bridgestone BT020 AA for the RT. I'm getting 10k plus miles on them so I can't think of a good reason to switch off.
I'm completely out of the motorcycle business for now. Yes, I finished up in Sonoma Califonia about two weeks ago and had a phenomenal trip. The cases of wine are still coming. I spent last week mtn biking in the Tetons...just heading out for a road ride now after some "combat" lunch time town errand riding...yikes.
Enjoy Greybull and Cody. I'll probably stay off the roads once the 4th hits...maybe work in the yard...then head back to the mountains when everyone else goes to work.
I still ride as much as possible and would love to head up to the mts. My schedule is busy but I have tom off, as well as Thursday and Friday next week. Just give me a shout at (704) 607-4402
Bill, I was thinking about it , but I'm missing a few parts and have had trouble getting the front faring mount straightened. I think I'll end up taking the R1200ST if I haven't messed it up with the over tightening of the head bolts. I believe the torque specs are 17ft. lbs. and I went 29.5ft lbs. I'm just not sure what the torque should be? I guess I need a few more shots to the head. Thanks for the help and I hope the family is doing well. BTW my grandson was student of the month last month. Kinda proud of the little 7year old man. Guess he takes after his grandpa. Now thats a joke!!!
Thanks Dee Jones
