tb~i know the bike isn't going to be around for TOO long with those carbs sucking in dirt because there's no filters on them, but could you maybe ask your son to tighten up that chain a tad? that loose chain image is drivin' me crazy and i hardly ever get to write the word "chain" on this forum. pretty picture, by the way.

The problem in Utah is that you can end up with super high contrast shots during the day because of the starkness of the landscape. That, unfortunately was 2:14 pm which is not ideal at all. But it's a long hike out and if you miss a cairn or two on the way, you will be sleeping on sandstone or, worse, fall off a cliff as there are three uplifts with only one way down each. Especially with no moon. So, waiting for sunset wasn't practical yesterday. What I did notice is at noon the sun is not overhead, but way south now (yes, I'm a genius!!). Anyway, I don't always expect them to be perfect, I just take a picture and post it.

No, the problem with Utah is you only get 3.2 beer at the gas stations and super markets, you got to go to the state run liquor store to get the good stuff.

Thanks Brad, I gave him a hint on the need for filters but missed the loose chain, and I should know better....
