Avon tires
hey anyone out there get the avon tire deal . i got a set and mounted them on the k12s , but they did not seem to last very long....forgot to write the milage when i mounted them
nothing else wrong with them ,good grippy tires

yes, i actually pumped them up to recommended high pressure, what pressure's are you running.

tires
i think i ran them at 38 psi although with that amount of hp i suppose no tires are going to last that long, the front is still in really good condition
i remember wearing out a set of dunlop 208s in 2000 miles on the crest one summer with my first 1100s

ive just fitted the new avon storm ST, which replaces the azaro.
supposedly good grip wiht high mileage, see how they go Phil ,

I got the Avon deal (Vipers) and I have about 2k on them now and the front looks real good the rear is at the wear indicator in the middle of the tire.
Good tires other than wear. I think for me these tires turn in a corner faster then any other tire I had ridden on. I switched out with a buddy's R1100s that had M3 on it and it felt like I had to fight the tires to turn compared to the Avons.
