No the Engines are 4-Stroke Turbo-Diesels, 4-Valve Heads, with Electronic Unit Injectors (no Fuel Rack or Woodward Governor). And no it's not Electric Drive...Caterpillar OHTs are the oddballs of the industry in this respect.

The 7-Speed Automatic Transmission is electronically controlled and uses engine rpm data to execute shifts at preset points for optimum performance, efficiency and clutch life. It also has a Lock-Up Torque Converter.
