Sunday AM ride (NE Riders)

If anyone is interested, I'm riding with a couple of friends and we're meeting at Moto Market in Acton, MA.

Sunday 9 AM meet time, and we're gonna head north (TBD). Just a short ride, till around 12:30 - 1pm, but that ending point is somewhere near Manchester, NH.

Anyway just throwing that out there for anyone that wants to ride.

It is Memorial Day weekend big roads will be crowded after 10 AM.
I have conflict but could be talked into attending.

If I can locate and install new gearbox seals on Saturday, sure, count me in.

Here's the route I roughly have in mind:

Google Maps
Code:

Starting Point: Acton, MA
Ending point: Rindge, NH to:Dublin, NH to:Hancock, NH to:Hillsborough, NH to:manchester, NH
106 mi (about 3 hours 18 mins)

Once in Manch-hattan, I need to break off and head home but others are free to extend the ride if they wish.

A couple riders from 675.net will be joining as well - but they're Sprint 1050 riders == older ;) and more than likely what they'll actually be riding that day.

The pace will be sane, holiday weekend and probably substantial police presence..and I've been pulled over once this month.

You can meet up with me to ride to meet Babo if you wish. Then we can swear you into the "Breakfast Club".

Andrew, scratch the Secondwind idea, we'll stick to this plan - I only mentioned it in case you guys needed a more manly (300 mile) ride. Sounds like a shorter ride works better for everyone.

So I've got a few guys joining us (Triumph 675, a Sprint, and CBR600F4) meeting at Moto Market tomorrow @ 9am.

See you guys then.....

Xtriple If that was an invitation for me, thank you very much but MotoMarket is at least 2 hrs from here, so I'll be cruising up I 495 at breakfast time.

I just put a frypan on each of the cylinder blocks of the ST1100 and make potatoes and Eggs and fill up while dishing out miles.

I may have to go to job lot and get a new cast iron before tomorrow now that I thought of it, Oh and I can get a Dells while I' gathering up what I need for the big trip to Acton.

From todays ride:

X-Triple, Flock_of_seagulls_John, and slowrider at Motomarket.

Hang at Motomarket long enough, and you are guarenteed to see at least one of every Euro bike ever made!

Somewhere in New Hampster:

Seventies Man gigs deep!

Yikes!

This tire belonged to the Husky motard pictured above.
