Need source for 07 R1200s fork tube paint
Well it was a matter of time until I scratched the beautiful silver crinkle finish paint on the bottom of the fork tube on my S, and now I have
![]() Anyone have a source for a real match to touch this up. Touch up should be easy as the paint has a heavy crinkle finish, but I would like to the color to match as closely as possible. Thanks in advance! Robert

If it's a minor scratch, just ride it over to a Pep Boys type store and match it to some auto touch up paint.

I use the HD engine paint for touch ups on my Moto guzzi 1100Sport forks and I the r1200s look about the same.bobL.

Wurth makes a silver paint to match the BMW powdercoating. I've seen it used and it's a spot on match.
Joey the parts manager at Touring Sport BMW (864-232-2269) usually stocks some. If you call and talk to him nicely he might even airbrush it on for you. Tell him I mentioned it to you.
