Thoughts on this bike!
What do you guys think of the new K1200R Sport? If I was gonna go for an inline 4 this would be the one for sure. Looks like you can get the chin fairing option, and when you combine that with one of the new HPE Agusta-type organ pipe exhausta, watch out! Anybody here ever ride one of the K1200R or S's?

I did recently....rode a new K12S and a new K12R Sport back to back.
Best I can tell the power is about the same...both were new bikes so they were treated gently. No need to beat on them just to confirm what I already know...they're both bloody fast. S has you sitting down in the bike a bit more hiding behind the excellent fairing and so the lower bars didn't seem as "down" as I thought. R has a more upright position that also has you sitting more on top of the bike. OK fairing but wind buffet and noise and side wind pushes the legs out a bit. S fairing is simply amazing....as if BMW knew what they were doing....R fairing appears to me to be more of a styling afterthought. I came away wanting the S, not as impressed with the R. I already have more motorcycles than I can afford or I would have bought that S demo bike of Bobby's right then and there. Put bags and cruise control on it and you have a serious mile eater. FWIW. Edit note. I am now a fan of the ESA. More than a gimmick....it works!
