Always wear a crash helmet.....

some of the video is "unfortunate", most of it is just stupidity, but all of it should give you at least three, maybe four giggles.

In some cases, it seems the photog was the one in need of a helmet.

Also interesting the number of wheelie bikes that went into wobble mode upon front wheel touchdown...

when physics meets foolishness, it's often interesting to see the results....

one clip in there is max biaggi, crossing the checkered flag in a triumphant wheelie, when a big old wind gust (and too much throttle) stood him up beyond the point of return. i asked him about it years later and he said that of everyone who was there, he was undoutably the MOST surprised person when that bike came back to him. he had already written it off and was just waiting for it to roll over so the fall wouldn't be too far to the ground....

he said something like: "i was not even just along for the ride. at one point, my part of the ride was definitely over, i just happen to be the person holding onto the bike--nothing more. but for some reason the bike decided to be nice about it. i did not start breathing again until i got it almost stopped and there was no way i was going to say that i planned it, or claim that i saved it. i had very, very little to do with the outcome, if anything at all."

as long as the extreme stupidity of the squids hurts no one else, I find it endlessly amusing.

I did find the head shake at 2:25 real scary though...looked like a TT of some sort.
