Lightbulb New item...any body running with them?

Well...I was in the market for a new helmet and came across this..........
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HJC-Wind-Light-For-Helmets_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ34355QQihZ002QQ itemZ120227219619QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

It seems light a great idea for more safety on you as a rider but has any body used them.......

Do you think that will be more visible than the 1000 candlepower headlight on your bike?
Drive with your brights on all the time!

I would be afraid of being mistaken for an alien and shot on sight.

I believe it's illegal to have any sort of light mounted on your helmet in the state of washington. Might be worth looking into.

Imagine your in your car on the dark highway and you see a tiny light (presumably far far in the distance) - Let's floor it and see if we can figure out what that light is ... ; )

OT - don't know if anyone listens to this american life (www.thislife.org) - they had an episode on Kids Logic - a toddler who was riding on a plane for the first time asks her parent at take-off "when are we going to get smaller?"

You are assuming that the tail light does not work???

if safety is your concern, reflective tape would be better since you dont have to be moving for it to work. cheaper too!

aw come on you guys, you're forgetting the fun/Fuk-with factor!

sure it may not be an end-all product....but for the price it might just be fun to play with.

plus, you could probably crack it open and put it somewhere else...like the front or rear fender.

dang...some of you guys...i'm sure glad you weren't on the board of directors when the boys made their pitch for this "silly putty" project.

we'd have never seen peanuts in color....backwards.

Whoever created this thing is.

I just obsess on useless products - man-years spent on concept, design, CAD/CAM, prototyping, testing, regulating, packaging, marketing, branding - so you can have LEDs powered by wind - ugh!
(bad day today - some f*ing cab passenger opened her door in traffic into my lane.)
