Can one buy the HP2 Sport self-sup. seat?
I wanted to ask if somebody knows if one can buy the HP2 Sport self-supporting CF seat (unit) and if so what does it cost.
TIA, Hugo |

It's not primary about weight , it's about ditching the subframe, etc. making the bike simpler and it is not for a BMW

You'd have to buy the whole bike to get that part. At the moment there are NO spares for the major cf components. The production delays continue.

make your own.
If you don't autoclave it, it's a breeze (if you know how to deal with fiberglas and CF.). research prepreg tape. build your own autoclave. I'm in the process of constructing a curing oven for powdercoating that will be big enough to hold a *ugh* harley frame. You can make a cheap vacum bag with thick plastic and a vacum cleaner. A little ingenuity goes a long way. Lay in some AL bolt inserts and you're golden!

If you understand the vacuum bag process you can use an existing piece of cf for the template. Sorry Jony, you said it fitst.
