I'll see you there Dale.

Just to be clear, it is the prototype carbon fibre racebike on display,
and not the production street version of the S1000RR.

The dealer has a 2009 HP Sport with ABS for sale on the showroom floor.
I am sure someone will buy it tonight. But not me, unless I can get a deal.

Got 2 new sets of M3's and 2 new sets of Bridgestone B016's in the basement.

I picked up bargains as they came up since last fall. Only have about $205/set, delivered in them, so I done good.

The bike still has the baldies from the last WS tour on it. Need some warm weather to start thinking about installing new shoes.

I am headed to Tremblant for a week os Skiing on Sunday, I will wave as I pass the Ottawa exit.

Thx, wasn't sure which but expected the test mule since it was just in Montreal. The HP2S is on the radar. I'll wait until I figure out which way to go, S1000RR, HP2S, R12S or Lotus Elise.

If bike it's likely to be only a trackbike with minimal road use since most of my road-legal riding is off-road with the HP2 for enduro rallies.

They have had 168" this season and it has stayed cold with the exception on the last few weeks, so coverage should be good. The millions also included a lot of snow making and heaven knows it gets cold enough there to make snow even if mother nature does not provide it.

Ice?? Well for anyone west of the Mississippi, they call eastern powder ice. Modern groomers pretty much eliminated ice 20 years ago, at least the blue stuff, what remains is no problem as long as you keep your skis sharp.

I will have to take a picture of the base area, you will not believe it. Note sure, but there is probably accommodations for 20,000 people at the base and condos, a big change from the 40 or so cabins that were available into the 80's.

Here they are.

Got a sneak preview of the BMW S1000RR, supposedly the same as Xaus and Corser are riding at Philip Island tonight at the 1st Anniversary Celebration of our local BMW dealer in Ottawa, at Ottawa Goodtime Center.

Awesome looking bike! Too bad they couldn't start it.

Ah... yes, the engine and the tranny are EMPTY! The swing arm is the old style as well... I am guessing that is one of the early prototypes.

If you get a chance and get close to the bike, try to move the shifter... you might find that you can shift endlessly

I am wondering when they will show the first street ready bikes...

I think BMW is missing the boat again by making the US one of the last countries to get this bike... now the delivery date is pushed out to 03/10 here in the US.
