My god. If a person really did do that they would either be dead or a cripple.

Btw that would be a SWEET sledding hill in the winter...if it snows there.

both of those are fake, but travis pastrana has made a career out of doing things like that for real.
here's a trailer for his upcoming second season:

True, and you can see it in the glazed-over, too-many concussions-look in his eyes in every interview he does. Too "Raging Bull" for me to enjoy his stuff any more.

yep, he's whacked his head (and other parts) quite a few times, but i haven't seen any change over the years as far as mental fog...yet.
he does tend to "light up" when interviewed, and he does play off the "how many times i've been hurt/broken bones" thing often.
extreme sports fans like the "bones heal and chicks dig scars" persona, but he does remember names, faces, times, places and doesn't go off to "a nice place", 'cept when he rings his bell.
last week at x-games he rang his ass rather than head. hadn't been able to land that trick the last 40 times he tried it, but he went out and gave it a shot anyway...some significant show-up money involved there...

and that's red bull, not raging bull.

I think it's real.

I'd be willing to bet that we can get the same results in a parking lot during the next WST.

I nominate PdiddyFOG as pilot.

AndrewA, Hope MR PFFog sends some good pics over from the Alps, I think he should be riding there now? Doubt it will be anything like the videos though. Coulds be better though.

Yeah it was fake (you could tell by the splash pattern, if he had truly been going forward and down instead of straight down as explained in the story, the water woulda sprayed forward big time) but still cool to watch.

Those zany Germans! Nothing but a bunch of smiling, irresponsible people, always are they the thrill seeking. Is this going to encourage me to go out and buy something from Microsoft? I have made is this far without doing it, so nein, danke
