Best leak seal for intake tubes
I had my fuel injectors cleaned and now I want to make sure I don't have any air leaks where the tubes connect to the air box and throttle bodies. Any suggestions for sealing adhesive?

Is this something normally recommended or as I might do on other things the over kill approach. Is there a common air leak associated with the tubes?

Use silicone grease on places like that on a BMW. That's why you bought a BMW, eh. No great need to glue joints air-tight upstream of the TBs. Last edited by Boybiker3; 10-07-2009 at 10:18 AM.. |
