HP2Sport Locator
If you have a HP2Sport log it in with the year, ABS/non-ABS, and the last 8 #'s on the VIN.

Maybe it's handy to go on full numbers because USA/Euro are different ZS7xxxx/ZS6xxxx ...
and here in Europe we are already in the 61xxx numbers (even saw 615xx) Mine is from March 2009, ABS, #9ZS61012

Very good point, Jack. Posting your VIN isn't like posting your social security number or its European equivalent.

It seems that there is only the space in the VIN chain to make 224 US bikes, if you enter the VIN # ZS70224 it is still an HP2S, but VIN # ZS70225 is an older EU model?

The A will represent 2010 model year. The numbers following ZS are just the sequence numbers.

The 1045808 Tells us it is a rear wheel drive, HP2Sport, racer, 2 cylinder, european specs, the ZS designates where it is assembled.
The WB tells us it is manufactured in Germany by BMW. http://www.motoverse.com/tools/vinDecoder/WB10468079ZS70098 Last edited by Guest24; 02-20-2010 at 06:59 PM.. |

#039 w/ABS goes to PA
Johnny-moto with #039 formerly owned by nail24. John is new to the board; but, he's no stranger to boxers. He currently rides a R12000ST.
Couldn't keep that grin off his face for the two day twistie tour of WNC to introduce John to his new BMW adventure. I'll miss the HP2S like so many other excellent "man toys" I have had the pleasure of owning.![]()
