Would anyone know the proper method for adjusting this torque arm?

judging from the looks of your rear tire, it seems you might have it in the right spot!

Where did that arm come from and how much was it?
That arm looks nice, but you will have to loosen the nut........then remove one of the bolts to adjust it.

if you are really wondering how to adjust that, I would guess that you loosen the locknut on the shaft, and then disconnect either end of the arm from its mount and wind the eye-bolt in or out depending on what length you want. the aftermarket arms that are fixed offer a 5mm longer length. the stock arm on my bike measures 380mm. hope that helps

wheel base
Not meaning to redirect but I have to wonder what extending the arm or shock to jack up the back does to the drive shaft, traney or rear drive? Changing the angle will reduce the wheel base, and shorting the rear swing. mmm??? BobL.

Not having ever seen this arm in person it looks to me like all you have to do is loosen the locknut and turn the black arm with the slots cut into it. Making an adjustable torque arm that you have to unbolt a side doesn't make sense to me and since that's such a fine looking piece, I'll bet it's designed to adjust easily.

Well if they did design it as well as it looks..............maybe after loosening the locknut...............I wonder if you can just spin the black rod in the clevis for adustment?
That would be nice. Cheers

Thanks for the replies. I don't know who makes the arm, it came with the bike. The Power Race tires are very tall and I wanted to experiment with shortening the arm slightly to compensate. Here's a picture of the of the rear of the arm. My guess is that I do need to unbolt and then adjust.

I'm too really interested on who makes that arm.
Is it maybe a Rizmota? Quote:

How about the footpegs? What brand are they?
Cheers

the a-arm is not Rizoma, but the footpegs appear to be. I think the arm and footpegs don't look good on the bike, they are a bit too industrial. The R12S needs a nice organic shape.

Is that a zip tie around the torque arm about 3/4 of the way back, or does it have some sort of collar there?

The rearsets are Rizoma and yes - it's a zip tie.

Mystery solved - it an Evoluzione billet torque arm, the length is adjusted by inserting up to three 3mm shims in the collar at the end of the arm. I emailed Evo this morning and Mr. Zeller replied immediately with the instructions attached.
