PitBull centerstand question
Is there a trick/tips to putting the bike on it? Asking my wife to come out to the shop and help steady the bike is a bit embarrassing. Or do i just need to man up and eat more big macs? lol.

When I had my R1100S and I did use the Pit Bull stand, I would put the side stand on a 2x4 to raise the bike closer to vertical. Then I would start the Pit Bull stand on the left, or low side, and lift the stand and bike together until the right side was in position on the stand. Then it is just a matter of pushing down the handle to lift the bike.
Hope this helps. Richard |

If the stand is affixed to the frame, once the two wheels are firmly on the floor the bike shouldn't fall. Just steady it by holding onto the grip until the whees are moving forward as the handle moves over center. Eat some Cheerios for breakfast.

Haha, thanks guys. The 2x4 is prob the helper I needed. I couldn't hold the bike upright enough and get the stand latched onto the spools by myself.
