Great Roads, Wish the Weather Was!

Went out for a blast today, after fitting an Öhlins shock on Friday, I needed to see if it was any better than the standard shock. (I came up with some other excuse for the good lady wife though!)

Anyway, the shock felt better, it's on the factory settings at the moment, I'm booked in to set things up to my weight etc on Tuesday so I'll have a better idea then, but it looks Awesome if nothing else.

The road I took was the B6255 from Ingleton to Hawes in Yorkshire. True biking Nirvana! Only problem are the sheep who wait around blind apexes and over crests, but a full Akropovic system without baffles helps with this.

Just wish the weather had been better. Grey and overcast on the way over, which was fine as the road was dry, but rain on the way back made some of the bends a little greasy.

Thanks for that, I'd copied the pictures from my mate's Facebook page. When it comes to using a computer, I'm at Village Idiot level!

Haha, no worries, my pleasure.

What you see if you edit your post is that you had them embedded as links, to take one to the other site when clicked. That shows up as a tag containing the text "url" on other side of the web address (url) of the image. These boards allow images to be embedded right in your post (as opposed to linked-to) by using a slightly different 'tag' that you'd select by using that little square with a mountain and sun in it: That puts the "img" tag on either side of the same web address.

Short version:

All I did was 'quote' your message in reply and change every instance of "url" to "img".
