Boxercup Decals

Evening,

Anyone know where I can get some BCR decals for the belly panel? I need to repaint mine (stone chips) and they want to do the whole thing.. The dealer wants $350!!!

I see there was someone who made some back in 07... if anyone has a lead let me know pls..

Here: Bike Decals - Motorcycle Road and Race Graphics Decals and Stickers
Look for the "Race replica decals" section. They are identical to the original set. Good quality vinyl. And cheap. Have used them myself. (One complaint though - the set I got (last year) was not "fresh" and I had a bit of a problem getting some of the decals to let go of the paper when applying them. Probably an old set or stored incorrectly I guess).

I was thinking about getting these. Reflective would be a bonus.

I saw those and they look great only problem is mine are a bit different ...
I have the Minolta sticker in there as well - I am hoping to keep it original as possible..
I guess I have to suck it up..

Check with a local graphic shop. They cover an entire car with "lawn care service" stickers, with a stupid red dog and detailed grass in 10 shades of green. They can probably replicate the simple 1 color bcr stickers for a cheap price.

The Minolta sticker is in the kit. At least it was in mine. I believe it was only one though (is it only one in the original kit also?). It is on my belly pan.
You could always send them an email. 32 quid is cheap, so it could be worthwhile to check it out.

I make them.... for quite a bit less.
There were different versions of them... the sheet I have does not have Minolta on it, I think... but that's an easy fix
It's been a while.
Let me know whether you want them.
And - you don't want to do reflective, if you want to put clear coat over the stickers.

2004 R1100S BCR Vinyl Graphics "Dark"

Glad to see that you still a possible resource and good professional counsel for vinyl graphics Ralph! I thought I saw some where here that you had retired.

I've finally been able to get back to rebuilding my '04 S as a salvage full BCR. I'm currently painting body work black in a custom BCR "Dark" scheme. I was hoping to commission a monochromatic graphite '04 BCR model set of vinyl graphics for under the clear coat. Is this something you could still do?

Know nothing about the stickers but just wanna say it's a fantastic picture of a beautiful bike, that all.

I am sure that, together, we can work something out, Mark...

Not retired, just a 4 year hiatus... I'll be starting "something" full force again soon... atm I am doing t-shirts, but I still have a vinyl cutter, etc.

Thinking about buying a large format flatbed and a cnc table to boot...

Glad to hear you are still in business Ralf... I thought maybe your infrequent posting had something to do with poor wifi reception in your van, parked under the bridge

Thumbs up Good to know.

Will be in touch soon then Ralf. Just dropped off the first pile of bits for 2 bikes to be prepped for paint. Should be ready for graphic work when I get back from vacation in 2 weeks. Great to talk then about perimeters and preferred file formats for vinyl graphics.

THAT has been a problem, Bill... but I solved it by parking next to the trailer park they kicked me out of...

Works better now!
