RS is probably the best all around model BMW offers. Congrats and enjoy. I plan on getting one once I’ll be ready to ride just one bike.

The hard part is I’m still very attached to the 11s. I should sell it but I’m having a hard time with my emotions.

I got a 2020 RS, I think you'll like it. Unfortunately I ended up selling my S, just ran out of space in the garage and a friend wanted it. Enjoy the RS.

Wish mine had that Akrapovic.
Was that aftermarket?

Looks like you got everything but the kitchen sink!

Yep. Added the Akra slip on and just installed the titanium headers (cat delete) last week. The blue color on the headers is so beautiful.

Got the bike in may with 6 miles on it. Currently at 7k miles.

Jozef, your bike looks so purposeful. The mandarin and black is perfect.

Jozef, Mandy needs black checker decals to go even faster.

Steve, I sure hope that luggage is just Photoshop. ;-)

Tom,

Nope it was real. I got tired of the soft luggage. Not enough space. I even added a top bag to the stock K1 multivairo set up (see photo). Don’t worry, the bike was unharmed, the Rubbermaid top box had padding in all the contact points.

Though it did scare the K1200RS group at the Gap when they were unloading their bikes at Tapoco Lodge.

Those red ones were always standouts. Marrakesh Red? Or was it Mystic Red?

Piedmont Red.

I loved this red. I cracked the body piece that surrounds the gas cap when removing the tank to replace degraded fuel lines. Luckily I found a black replacement piece on ebay. It was a surprise how well the black worked with the red. I had hoped to someday find a black seat cover to complement it but no such luck.

I sold it to make room in the garage for an RT to fulfill grand plans for some extended touring.

And, Piedmont red's older brother, Bright red!

And since I'm digging through the archives; this from a much simpler time ...
