SpeedTV MotoGP Newsfeed Spoiler WTF?

Anybody else have the Brno MotoGP race result spoiled for them six minutes before the race broadcast Sunday afternoon on Speed? I was just sitting down with a cold adult beverage, watching the end of something called Targa Newfoundland. There was a news ticker scrolling along the bottom, and out scrolls the MotoGP result.

What kind of idiot programmers scroll the result just before they broadcast the race?!? Couldn't believe they'd do such a thing.

They were just trying to protect the audience from a heart attack on the last lap.

Speed does a totally sh it job of covering races anyway, why would you expect anything else.

Yep, those last moves by Pedrosa on Lorenzo were great racing. Think even the tires are out to get Spies?

most likely happened due to them showing the race live at 5:00a PDT, so to them, it's old news by the time they showed again at 11:00a PDT. Not an excuse though, they should be more attentive to those things, but if it's not NASCAR, I don't think they really give a rats ass on SPEED, my .02!

Those last few laps between Jorge and Dani were something. It had me on the edge of the couch, and I knew Dani would get it from the feed spoiler!

Total shame about Spies. Makes an interesting test of his champion spirit, though: here's a guy who was tops in AMASB for years, decimated the WSB field in a single season, and now he's having this ... year from Hell. How does he respond to that?

Brno looked like a nice track: undulating. As opposed to, say, Moscow Raceway, which looked kinda tight for WSB. Steve Martin was commentating the warm-up lap there, and it didn't sound like those guys ever got higher than 4th gear.

Spies will have to do some good riding if he gets the seat with San Carlo. He will have no end of doubters on his arse.

Pedrosa has done some good racing. And with Stoner out of the picture he can focus solely on Lorenzo. It may finally become an exciting season.

And what's with the Spanish domination? Lorenzo, Pedrosa, Marques, Cortese...jeez.

Spies is not the real problem in the stable. He is a damned capable driver. Blown engines, failed swingarms and chunked out tires tell the story. There is some really bad karma on the makeup of his team. Yamaha is shining for one rider and stinking up the paddock for the other. If Jorge wasn't winning they'd be kinking ass to fix the problem. I don't see how Ben has anything to prove.

Ben Spies is jinxed and has lost his MoJo, maybe he should take the Stoner route...out!
It was great to see how Lorenzo went wide on the last turn and Dany passed him waving the finger (mentally that is). I favor Lorenzo but after seeing Dany's efforts I was cheering for him from my bed.

I beg to differ. Ben does need to prove himself if he wants to keep a GP ride. He may be capable but he's been off of the podium a long time. Not all of his DNFs were due to mechanical failures. Dani had been similar but he kept getting hurt. Now he's healthy and he's on the podium alot.
