Buell help
I have noticed several memebers mentioning that they also owned a Buell or have owned one in the past. I have a friend who has a Buell and wants to sell it to buy a R1150R. I offered to post it on the internet, but I need to know where it might recieve the best coverage. There seems to be a very small market for these bikes. He lives in western Kentucky and is willing to deliver it and sell it at a discounted price. Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

Buells are tough to sell but you can sell
everything if the price is right. If the BMW dealer doesn't trade it in or sell on consignement or sell it wholesale to a H-D/ Buell dealer try the cycletrader or Walnecks... Chris PS:Of course you can always try to give it away on ebay or do they still have that "battle2win" Buell magazine? |

You might also wanna try
ATC http://www.americanthunderbike.com and BWB http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/board.html Tell your friend to be realistic...Buells ain't worth schit. I've been trying to sell mine on and off since February 2001. Most Buells other than S3s or S3Ts ain't worth much over $5K-$6K regardless of shape, accessories, etc. |

Tell your buddy to advertise it every he can, and to be prepared to bite the bullet real hard since, except for the Blast and new XB9 Firebolt, the other models are discontinued.
A shame. They could have done so much more. Mal |
