229 shipped for a set of the SMH10 headsets. Looks to be from a dealer in Maryland so looks to be a reputable dealer. Thought I would share in case someone else was looking

I have the SMH10 and like it allot. Used it last year on a couple tours for Bike-to-bike Com. A great asset to group riding IMO!

Good to hear! I have been researching these for a while and it came down to this and the Cardo G9. The price and ability to get a base that accepts ear buds really sold it for me. What kind of range were you seeing with these when you used them bike to bike?

I offered $220 and it was accepted... that is close to dealer pricing and I saved taxes and shipping.... lower than 220 was rejected.

Advertised is 0.55 mile IIRC. My personal experience was that it worked fine in a group of 4 riders and we kept generous margins between us. Line of sight was good but around corners or behind hills it would drop out. Recovery after dropout was good though.

Thanks for the info R111S, out here on the plains I expect good range, we don't have too many trees or hills. Glad a couple of you could grab the deal too, mine shipped the day after I ordered so I should have them by early next week!

Santa brought me one for Xmas ...she's way cool like that! Anyway, it was a super easy fit in my Shoei Rf1100. Weather has been crappy in the Philly area...but bench testing has demonstrated great sound and amplification...looking forward to getting it out on the road.
