that is a 120 kW (160 hp) 120 pounding feet of torque electric motor being used as an integral part of an electric motorcycle.
in it's most recent configuration, it pushes a bike to 150 mph top speed. 0-60 in under 3 seconds and does the ¼ mile in 10.492 seconds. it also has integrated traction control. want one? https://www.mission-motorcycles.com/rs what did i win? when will it be delivered? can i trade it for what's behind door #3?

in 20 years IC mo'sikkles will be botique enouugh it might be possible to run good fuel
electrics are inevitable and invincible, and a good stereo blaring out a motogp soundtrack will be standard equipment, along with a bearden-bedini scalar-overunity power supply..

Little excessive on the price there people! Even 1/2 that would be absurd...

You want the baddest, newest thing out there you gotta pay. What really sucks is in a few years it's obsolete & replaced with something 1/4 the price.

it's like computers: you grab the latest, hottest do-hickey and by the time you get to the register to pay, they've tossed a newer, faster, cheaper one on the shelf.

I wonder how these batteries hold up over time? I am all for clean technology but I just had to replace one of my Milwaukee tool batteries for my drill, flashlight, saws all, circular saw set which does not get much use and it was $90 dollars. That is a 1/4 of the price I paid for all the tools, two batteries and a nice bag.
Chris, did you buy it, or was it delivered by mistake? I have heard bmw customer service in England is terrible.

I like the idea that electric motors and batteries are the green way to go, but just how green are they when most electricity is generated by burning coal, and then you have the worn out highly toxic batteries to dispose of. Seems to me a natural gas powered motor would be the greenest!

+1 Shreddr - the size of the "fuel tank" is the limiting factor - perhaps someone will figure out how to make an affordable cryogenic fuel tank - liquid methane is roughly 1/600th the volume of gaseous methane.

I'll stick with a nice loud booming twin cylinder exhaust note.
Electric vehicles make me think I'm on the set of the Jetson's! Cheers
