If that was real, I doubt that the first application would be a hoverboard, or anything that a mere mortal could afford and handle. No doubt that such things will pop up everywhere just as soon as we figure out how to control gravity.

somewhere in a beyond-black lab underneath your feet, this technology has long been figured out.
youtube a dude named Ben Rich. Read up on his bonafides and listen to what he had to say, and look here for something to think about with your shot of absinthe.

Nikki T. did it a hunnert' years ago.
Ever wonder why whole branches of applied physics have 'gone dark' over the last 40 years?
the cat is poking it's head out of the bag, micron by micron. As someone who loves all things technological, I'm constantly quoting Arthur C. Clarke:
'any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic'.
Jimmie F. almost got away with the plans and was erector-setting a lashup in his shop when he crossed swords with the 'stablishment; they don' like their rice bowls threatened.
The equations that Ben Rich mentions are the classic theorems of Maxwell and Heaviside, deliberately f'd up so that, uncorrected, just enough 'gigo' is produced to preclude an accurate result.

FWIW, YMMV, AMA, FUBAR, ETC

The vid looks real, and why would anyone spend a lot of money on a fake product? It's seems to me you need air lift propulsion or magnetic lift, and if it's mag lift you you some sort of metallic material or magnets imbedded in the surface. There is no source for air so has to be magnets. Cool looking!

Yes, I think that second vid is real but the magic is in the floor. It looks like maglev and all the high power sucking components are repelling some magnets in the board.

watch when Terrel Owens goes, you can see he is being lifted by his shoulders, and why do you need a strap for your foot if it is going up? because it will fall off!

It pretty trick, the floor must be steel (magnetic) for it to work, but I believe the magic is in the board.

There was an explanation below the video link; not steel but aluminium. I might have to adjust the degree to which I am impressed.

"It only hovers on top of certain surfaces (non-ferromagnetic conductors, like a sheet of aluminum), so you’re probably not going to be zipping around the streets with this thing. Without any real propulsion system to speak of, you’re not so much blasting around like Marty McFly as you are sliding around aimlessly"
