another member suggested the non-abs line to me, but looking at the parts schematic online and the actual bike I don't see how it fits?
To connect from the master cylinder to the rear line as it sits now - I need about a 4inch max piece of brake line. do you have a photo of your setup? ![]() |

just as a test of your original problem
I replaced the tail light bulb to repair the sold red triangle light, on a 1100s today. the abs drives the bulb so it looks like it is working but it has one bad filament. when it sees both filaments working it turns off the triangle light |

dave,
best modification I've made. my first attempt was done after A LOT of research and I followed some bad advice by removing the ABS unit with the electronics and cutting into the wiring to install a relay. DON'T DO THIS (you will lose the spedometer function - it was a pain in the a$$ to fix and do it right. The correct way is to retain the ABS unit's electronics. If you are going to do this - PM me and I'd be happy to walk you through the details. Parts you need are the small hard line that connects the rear master to the rear line junction and a set of after market lines. I ran a double line from front master to each caliper.

I have the iABS delete plate made, if you are interested.
Here is the picture of the setup, keeping the electronics portion of the iABS. Sorry for huge pictures, but again DONT CUT THE HARNESS!!! ![]() ![]() Let me know if you have any questions. |

I used a piece of the hard lines I removed to make a short line to tie the rear pedal cylinder to the factory junction block. This allowed me to use the regular Spiegler line. You'll need a brake line flare tool that makes a double-flare though.

that's a cool idea!! (although I don't have a Brake Flare tool and they cost more than the part).
Part # for non-abs brake line piece is # 34322335705 in case anybody is looking to do this Mod ![]()
