Had a lever when I left....
But now it's gone??
I know it's not a choke but I've lost the fast idle lever somewhere.. replaceable item but AUD100.00 and a 3 week delivery time. eBay here I come...pretty sure there is a dealer in the US who has them. ![]() Last edited by AndrewM; 07-31-2016 at 08:05 PM.. |

ok so I got my new part (#21 52 2 333 162) from the good folks at New Century in Alhambra, CA (cheaper to get it from there than buying it from an Australian dealer plus they have no stock here in the country!) but they ripped me off charging 3x the postage!
I'm going to have a crack at fitting it myself - seems pretty straight forward (if i can only get the grip off!) ![]() Easy to see why these fail - pretty flimsy mechanism esp if they dry out a bit - I just can't bear having a busted bit on the bike even though I don't really use it much.. ![]() |

you dont need to take off the grip just pull the flange back and use the hole
for the screw |

Yes they love a good shake eh - looks like the whole assembly shook enough for the lever to come loose and take the block and spring loaded ball bearing with it!
I'm pretty sure I will have to remove the grip as I'm replacing the whole assembly and there are 3 screws in there that I won't get a screwdriver on to....I'll have look this weekend - you can't just order the lever but the whole assembly....... |
