Front Turn Signals

Does anyone have a picture of the correct clip placement on the backside of the
turn signal's. This is one of the most screwed up BMW designs I have seen. I would
like to use the clips before I RTV them in place

Thanks

No not 3 . The light housing is held in with two stainless steel clips. ([ shaped).
Its crap engineering at its best. Fishe does not show the clips.
Thanks

Seems like pretty good engineering to me when all it takes is a few $2 clips.

The fact it may not be intuitively obvious to one individual in the world doesn't make it crap engineering.

The clips on my 99 are different. They are just flat pieces, these my be an updated part.
I spent an hour screwing with them after I installed a new battery. I never could get them to clip right,
so a couple dabs of black RTV has them tight and flush. They were never in there secure the fifteen years I have owned it. Thanks everyone for your help.
