E36 Oil Pan
Hi, I'm looking to sell an oil pan for a 6 cylinder E36. The pan has never been used. It was bought for a research project and had measurements taken off of it, then was stowed away. We have no use for it at this point but it would be a shame to recycle it for scrap and I've had a surprisingly difficult time finding someone that wants it, so basically, if you'll cover our shipping costs (and of course we won't complain if you throw in a little extra for our trouble) we'd be happy to send it your way.
Thanks! Includes parts: 1 730 373 9 1 735 936 D

Personally, I don't need one, but I would think that you should have no trouble selling this pan on eBay.

I am in Austin. What is the part number of the pan? If it fits my 98 328ic I will take it off your hands. Backup parts are nice to have!

E36 Oil pan
How much would shipping cost to 83616, Boise, Idaho? Also, do you happen to know what the actual part# of the pan is so that I can verify if it'll fit an S52 M3 engine?
Thanks |

Sorry all, part has been sold.
Dakar- That's a really interesting question the answer to which might be useful to you even though this pan is gone. The "real" part number is 11.13.1.735.937, however this pan was stamped with 1 735 936. According to every dealer I spoke to (I had a buyer early on who was interested but skeptical about the part number), it is a common and frustrating BMW practice to vary one digit of a part number, and all of them were convinced this pan was the the part number I quoted above. Also interesting is that the part number appears next to the BMW logo wherever it is on the part, and in this case that was on the baffle, not the pan. Good luck with your search! |
