Timing chains will cause a rattle, not usually a tick. if the noise has been diagnosed, offering that info here would be helpful.

Hello Nick.
I could use advice, instructions, tips on X5 4.8L timing chains and guides replacement, hopefully with engine in car. any help is appreciated. first question: once front lower timing case cover removed, can the oil pump chain be removed with engine in car, oil pans still in place? thanks in advance |
