1.9 Flywheel

I need some help here folks,
My brother has a '97 1.9 Z3 and it might have a bad flywheel. The dealer quoted us $1300 for a new stock flywheel installed, a light weight flywheel from Turner Motersport is $525(sorry Pelican but I didn't see it on the web page). The stocker is 27lb. and the light one is 9lb. Heres the question, how much will the light flywheel effect city driving, ie. how hard will it be to stall. Any input from some one who has done a light flywheel would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul

Well, you'll certinaly have to get used to the way the car drives after installing it. For as quick as the motor will spool up with the reduced weight, it will also spool down just as quick. In all honesty, unless you're driving a car with a big block V-8 or a race car, I dont usually reccommend them for the street.
