27A0 E-box fan: control
my peak code tool gave me this code (27A0 E-box fan: control). I have a 2003 Z4, and i was wondering if anyone knew where the e-box is located? or knows how to replace the e-box fan? thanks.

The e-box fan cools the DME. Sort of like a PC cooling fan. You need to have this checked out immediatley. If it fails, you can fry the DME. Lots of money to replace that.
The e-box is located right behind the passenger side upper strut mount near the firewall. |
