				Driver Window binding

My 20 year old Z3 (1998 1.9L) has a problem with the drivers side window binding when half-way down. After removing the door panel I discovered the adhesive that binds the glass the rail has failed. So when the angle of the arm (mechanism) and rail reach 0 degrees all mechanical advantage is lost. Several slight up-ticks on the switch enables a fully opened window. I would like know what kind of adhesive I can use to attach the rail to the bottom of the window glass permanently.

On the advice of an auto glass installer, I used some strong 2 part epoxy from the auto parts store and it seems to be working. I couldn't get the rail all the way up onto the "rubber" on the glass, so the rear of the window goes up 1/4 in. too far. Close enough to get a smooth operation.
