Porsche Crest New Roof Fix.

I'm finishing up putting a new top on the car with the front and rear yet to go,
when I came across this on the back bow. I had to pull the main rubber strip out, thiking less tension would fix this. [NOT!]

Can anyone explain why this would happen, and how to fix it? The roof is really tight in the back, so tight the tension cables won't reach the balls, and the skirt won't reach their slats.

I followed the section in 101 to the letter, as well as all the material I could find on the 'NET.

Thanks

Sorry I don't have a process answer. Just curious, was your car originally a plastic rear window and you've upgraded to a glass aftermarket top?
