987 Roof Not Going Upo

I have a 987 roof that is not going back up. Done site searches and google but nothing definitive.

Hesitated one day, then did not function the next.

I have disconnected the rods and pulled it all back up.

Try and close and nothing happens, windows dont drop and no noises, screen states "roof closing"

My thoughts are, can't be the switch as the dash states roof closing when I press it.

Cant be top latch microswitch as screen message only comes on when latch is open.

Main fuse is OK.

Anyone know obvious fixes or next steps?

My 986 top had an intermittent issue raising/lowering the top. Ended up being the microswitch in the center console for the e-brake.

Its clearly an electrical/switch/microswitch issue. I would ignore what the screen says in this case.
