I just changed the oil in my 987.1. Can I clear the service indicator or do I need to go to the dealer?

If you have access to the Durametric software, or a PIWIS you can reset it, otherwise you need to take it to someone.

I was able to use a friends Autel M808 and clear it. Now I'm thinking about a scan tool. I know about the ICarSoft Por v.2. I was also looking at the Schwaben Porsche tool sold here and at ECS Tuning. The Schwaben tool is made by Foxwell and they have Porsche tools (N510, NT530) as well.
I think I've narrowed it down one of of the above. I'm leaning toward the Foxwell as you can download additional makes in the future should I get another marque. Any thoughts or recommendations?

I have iCarsoft and it’s good for what I need, but I also have a Durametric for things like watching Camshaft deviation.
