check these records for 986 I'm considering
I'm considering this 2001 986 and just got what appear to be the complete service records. If anyone knows more than I do (that's all of you), and if you don't mind, could you please take a look and tell me what you think? There seem to have been some issues along the way. I'm not sure these are red flags, or if I should be happy they've been identified and remedied. Thanks for any input.

Having previously owned a 2001 Boxster base I know something about ownership. I don't own it anymore as it needed money to be spent on it for a CEL re engine.
April 12, 2019 shows that coolant is disappearing somewhere. Not good. #6 cylinder has lower compression of 89 which is lower than the others. Not good either. In a nutshell it needs work. If it was me I would look elsewhere. I did not do my own wrenching except oil changes. I would not take on a project like that unless I bought the car cheaply. Factor in the amount of work and money needing to be spent especially if you don't do your own wrenching. Technicians may chime in with more info. As always get a prepurchase inspection on any used car you are considering. Cheers, Guy |

coolant loss scares me
The coolant loss issue was looked at over 2 years ago, but there's no paperwork showing that it was ever addressed. I'm finding it hard to believe an owner with a vehicle this well maintained would let the problem go unfixed. The dealership is looking into it to see if they can figure out what happened. They claim there is no issue with coolant loss now.

Was the brake issue ever addressed? They 12v issue? The paperwork notes declined. Also seems to be no records from 2021.
