Boxster Mechanical Diagrams Available
I don't intend to start working on my new Boxster S - at least not until the warranty expires - but I do like to know and understand how everything works and fits together. Unfortunately the workshop manuals are quite pricey - $500+. With great reluctance I must recommend a site other than Pelican. *********** has its catalog on the net - over 100+ pages - the last 50 or so pages have numerous exploded mechanical diagrams that show the innards of the Boxster 986. This is really great stuff for anyone with a mechanic curiosity about the inner workings of the 986. You need a fast cable connection to view this data, it took me about 15 minutes with my hi-speed cable connection. Once you download, it can be saved as a pdf file and it can be used for reference. In deference to our hosts at Pelican I will not post the web address but it is not hard to find.
