Red face Speedometer not calibrated correctly?

I have a 2003 Boxster S. I always thought the digital readout for the speedometer was a bit high. I used a portable GPS to verify and it appears as though the speedomter is about 2 MPH higher than actual - at all speeds over 10 MPH. Has anyone had this problem and/or fixes.

Thanks.

It has always been this way since the first year, 1997. There is no fix. Jeff

I always felt that the speedo in my 02 s read a bit high but I was thinking closer to a 20 mph difference. I guess I really was going that fast.
