Two Questions

Will storage of the Boxster and subsequent re-connection of the
battery effect an emissions test?

If you had a Boxster with 23K on the clock, and a good working clutch with the exception of grabbing high, would you change it now?

Thanks fellow owners,

AF

Why not leave the battery connected and use a battery maintainer that just plugs into the cig lighter? It seems to do the trick just fine.

I will probably do that, I'd still like to know what the period of time, if any, would be needed between a battery disconnect and an emissions test.

As long as your clutch grabs good, you should be okay. The fact it is high makes me think your pedal adjustment is off a little. usually a worn clutch will be low pedal and of course slip on a hard shift.

Thanks for the reply, I was told the pedal cannot be adjusted. I'm going to do more research on this over the winter.
