Porsche Crest A/C Recharge

I have a 2001 Boxster. The A/C has become weak in really hot weather. The previous owner used the A/C all the time and I suspect it is in need of recharge.
Is it typical to need recharge at 43k mi ?
Has anyone used Interdynamics EzChill R-134a refrigerant plus oil with the low pressure gauge ?
It includes leak sealer - is that recommended ?
Thanks for any feedback.

I think that's the one I used, came with the guage and 3 cans, and I picked up a small can with sealer/dye so I could see where it was leaking if it was.

Easy to do, and has worked great, even in 90+ degree weather, has been a couple months now.

You don't need to get the Kit with all the oil and dye unless you feel the system has a leak. If so, have the system vacuum. If the system just needs a charge you can get a 1 Lb.s can with the gauge with it and induce it. I did that to mine 2000 S as mentioned even on 90 degree day its ice cold. In most cases a 1lb. of charge will do.

Thanks Koya, yea, I think I'll try adding a can of refrigerant . I looked over the whole system and don't see any signs of leaking. So , it probably has leaked just enough to make it not quite up to speed on 90 + days.
