Gauge Face Question-Boxtser Newbie

My '02 2.7 has white gauge faces. Are these factory or an aftermarket thing? If they have been added can they easily be removed? (I like the black faces.) Are these a peel & stick item?

Also, the tach needle moves in a jerky motion while moving up and smooth going down. I think the needle is dragging on the face.

thanks,
dg

White face guages were standard on the Boxster S and optional on the base boxster.

Typically if a boxster owner was to special order the gauge face, there would likely be other obvious options on the car.

There is a good chance that on the underside of the front trunk lid, you will see the build sheet that spells out the option codes the car has.. write down the codes and then do a search for a "porsche option decoder" and have fun!
