I recently picked up a 2001 boxster

I recently picked up a 2001 boxster it has 70K on it

1 should i replace the IMS bearing are what till the clutch needs to be replaced is Thar Any waring sings before it goes out

2 Some times the top will not close or open win i push the button the first time but if i come back to it later it works.ween

1. re; IMS. There are few warning signs. You can read up if you like - google is your friend. but its really a roll of the dice. Some people say there is a "rattle of death" with the foot on the clutch. You could pull relative cam timing to see if anything is loose. But who knows? I would probably wait for the clutch job, but that might be $10k advice.

2. hand brake switch. replace or blow out with compressed air. To confirm, when you have this problem, is the hand brake warning light on? I bet not.
